Mal Meninga's Kangaroos are in Suva for a short time before returning for their opening match against England in Melbourne on October 27.
Raegen Campbell-Gillard had planned a very different trip to Fiji, however.

While Campbell-Gillard never expected to be playing for the Kangaroos, he hardly even expected to be playing rugby league.
He thought he'd be in the army by now.
