Inexplicable Bunker howler gifts Radradra a try

Another match, another inexplicable decision from the NRL Bunker.

In an all-too-familiar scenario, the controversial video review system gifted Eels winger Semi Radradra a try against the Titans despite an obvious knock-on.

The incident came early in the second half of Parramatta's 30-8 win over Gold Coast on Thursday night.

Parramatta were 18-0 up at the time when Radradra pounced on a loose ball and sprinted 90 metres to cross for a try.

The only problem was, the Eels winger knocked the ball on at least once (potentially twice) before sprinting clear and touching down for a four-pointer.

Replays showed Radradra clearly touching the ball before it bounced on the grass and commentators Warren Smith and Mark Gasnier both agreed that the try should be overturned.

Remarkably though, The Bunker ruled there was no knock-on from Radradra and the Eels were awarded the highly contentious try.

"Semi gets the points but I think you'd find plenty of people who agree with you and I that was a knock-on," Smith said.

The commentator was spot on and angry fans soon flooded social media to share their exasperation.

The Eels provisionally moved into fourth spot with the victory in front of 6826 at ANZ Stadium.

Coach Brad Arthur does have a concern over fullback Bevan French, who left the field five minutes before halftime with what appeared to be a recurrence of a hamstring problem that kept him out last week.

Arthur insisted it was a precautionary measure and he would be fit to play against Brisbane next week.
