NRL Teams: Slater out, surprise Dugan switch
Billy Slater will not face Manly after being knocked out by Sia Soliola, with the Storm opting to rest their star fullback after the sickening late hit.
Teammate Cooper Cronk on Tuesday said Slater is still suffering headaches following Saturday's high hit from the Canberra forward, with Cameron Munster donning the No.1 jersey.
But in better news for Melbourne, skipper Cameron Smith will play after he also suffered an injury scare against the Raiders.
Canterbury skipper James Graham will return from injury as the Bulldogs attempt to save face for the remainder of the season.
Graham has missed the past four weeks because of a neck injury and has been named to come back on Thursday night against Penrith.
Brisbane captain Darius Boyd has also been named to return from a broken thumb, while St George Illawarra have named rookie Matt Dufty at fullback and Dugan in the centres.
Penrith will be without skipper Matt Moylan (hamstring) against the Bulldogs, while Bevan French takes over as Parramatta fullback following Clint Gutherson's season-ending knee injury.
