Broncos score incredible try on half-time

Brisbane extended their lead over the Bulldogs after the half-time hooter following an incredible and inventive try from 40 metres out.

First receiver Anthony Milford shifted the ball left to Ben Hunt, who slipped as he tried to cut through a hole in Canterbury's defence.

With just 10 seconds left on the clock a tackle likely would've seen the Broncos head into the sheds leading 10-6, but the No.7 saved the play.

Hunt stood up, fed an offload back to Tevita Pangai Jr, who fed his own offload to Kodi Nikorima.

Eventually the ball made its way to Anthony Milford, with the No.6 drawing two Bulldogs defenders to put Jordan Kahu through for a stunning try.

The Broncos had only gone ahead four minutes earlier after Hunt scored his own four-pointer, with their late show swinging all the momentum their way at half-time.
