7th Tackle: Reece Lightning to strike again?

New Lebanon coach Brad Fittler gave his first presentation to the entire Cedars squad on Monday night, and there was a surprise player in attendance.

Code-hopper Reece Robinson joined the likes of Robbie Farah, Tim Mannah, Michael Lichaa and Mitchell Moses at the Surry Hills restaurant.

The former Eels and Raiders flyer has spent the past two seasons with the Waratahs, wrapping up his Super Rugby commitments last weekend.

Robinson missed the last part of the domestic season with injury and has told Cedars officials his Waratahs contract expires in September.

He and twin brother Travis, who now plays A-Grade footy with Redfern All Blacks, are eligible thanks to their father’s Lebanese background.
