Injuries to James Graham (neck) and Greg Eastwood (knee) have left the Bulldogs under-manned for tonight’s crucial clash against Parramatta.

Devoutly religious coach Des Hasler will therefore be praying halfback Moses Mbye won’t be a late withdrawal thanks to an impending birth.

Mbye’s second child is due within the next week, but the 23-year-old has been taking no chances – even arranging for an early flight home from Auckland following last Friday night’s loss to New Zealand.

If the baby does arrive in the lead-up to kick-off today, he’ll be left with no option but to pull-out as the Queensland-raised couple have no immediate family in Sydney to help with transport to the hospital.
