Dragons star hilariously sprung checking out cheerleaders

Suspended Dragons forward Jack De Belin has been sprung checking out the team cheerleaders moments before a sideline interview.

De Belin was serving a one-game ban as the Dragons beat Newcastle 32-28 on Sunday, and was interviewed by Brett Finch at half-time.

Viewers saw the interview as the teams were running back out onto the field, but hilarious vision has emerged of what happened just moments before.

As shown on Monday Night with Matty Johns, De Belin was a little bit distracted while waiting to talk to Finch.

The lock-forward had his back to the camera, seemingly checking out the 'Flames' - St George Illawarra's cheerleaders.

Finch had to give him a quick nudge just before they went to air, and De Belin's face when realising he'd been sprung was pure gold.

De Belin watched on as his side came back from 28-10 down to record an impressive comeback victory.
