7th Tackle: Dugan gives unlucky kicks the boot

Josh Dugan is becoming quite superstitious with time.

He's had no luck with injury over the past year - missing last year's opening two Origin games with an elbow problem and suffering a broken jaw in the third.

This year he's already been hit with a torn hamstring and fractured cheekbone, which has hindered his preparation for Game One.

Dugan puts this latest injury down to the boots he's worn this season, which were unceremoniously binned after the Anzac Test.

He'll be taking the field next Wednesday night in a new white pair.
