7th Tackle: Cartwright goes wrong again

Given a fair rub of the green this season, Bryce Cartwright would have been a strong bet to join the Blues Origin I camp this week.

But 2017 is turning out to be a complete curse for the Panthers star, who was yesterday told he needs surgery to repair a knee injury suffered in last weekend’s win over Newcastle.

Cartwright was booked in to see his surgeon late yesterday, and will soon discover the full extent of his recovery.
