Radradra barks up long tree for teammates

Semi Radradra may not scale mountains for his Eels teammates, but he'll go to extreme lengths to ensure they're hydrated.

Video has emerged on social media of the big Fijian climbing a massive coconut tree in North Queensland, ahead of Parramatta's match with the Cowboys.

Assumably Semi knows that coconut water is readily available in bottle form but that minor detail wasn't about to ruin his fun.

How the big-money Eels star was allowed to risk his own safety to scale the enormous palm tree is a mystery, but roommate Tim Mannah was there to capture it all on smart phone.

With injuries to Brad Takairangi and Bevan French already a concern for coach Brad Arthur's side, the last thing they need is to lose their hulking winger as well.

But the Fijian flyer showed a clean pair of heels as he raced to the summit of the tree to cut the coconuts loose.

Having sourced the precarious refreshments, Radradra showed a deft hand by using a machete to cut through the tough exterior.

If the Fijian can showcase the same footwork in a similarly defence-splitting display against the Cowboys on Friday night, he's going to be a tough man to stop.
