Mitch Moses's dodgy distraction tactics revealed

Video has emerged of Mitchell Moses attempting to psych out Eels kicker Clint Gutherson during his conversion attempts.

The footage (which you can see above) was aired on NRL 360 on Tuesday night, showing Moses screaming 'Gutho, Gutho!' as Gutherson is about to kick.

Gutherson shanks the kick terribly before remonstrating with referee Ben Cummins.

"Is he allowed to yell out like that?" Gutherson asks, before Cummins tells Moses to knock it off.

Under NRL rules, opposition players are not allowed to intentionally distract opponents while kicking for goal, whether it be physical or verbal.

It's not the first time we've seen a Parramatta kicker distracted, with Manly officials forced to defend themselves after a light was deliberately flickered behind the posts during a Michael Gordon conversion at Brookvale Oval last year:

NRL 360 host Ben Ikin was far from impressed.

"He's trying to play serious rugby league and some little 'havachat' tries to put him off," Ikin said.

However Bulldogs captain James Graham said he didn't have a problem with it.

"I like it," Graham said. "I've done it before."

"Do you want it to turn into Wimbledon with telling the crowd 'quiet please'?"
