7th Tackle: The big change that has Norman ready to dominate

We did a double-take when told this one.

Eels playmaker Corey Norman is the last player we’d expect to go easy on the party scene – his fun-loving lifestyle has become quite notorious on social media over the past 12 months!

But it’s true – Norman has barely touched the booze during the early part of 2017.

And his decision it’s a forced one; the Eels are smart enough to know that slapping him on a booze ban after last year’s antics would be a recipe for disaster.

Instead Norman has taken the more responsible approach after tweaking his hamstring twice already this season – in the Auckland Nines and Round Two against the St George Illawarra.

The 26-year-old’s early season attention has been more heavily focused on rehab and preparation than having a good time.
