Gallen left gushing blood after nasty head clash
Cronulla skipper Paul Gallen was left with a massive head gash after clashing heads with Newcastle forward Jack Stockwell.
Gallen was looking to assert himself early in the clash on Saturday, but wouldn't have wanted to go this hard.

The top of Gallen's head collided with Stockwell's chin in nasty clash in the first half, resulting in a 7cm gash.
The Sharks skipper was seen ripping off the bandage that had been placed on his head as he made his way into the sheds at half-time.
Stockwell needed 13 stitches in his chin.
The Knights came agonisingly close to snatching a memorable victory when they clawed their way back into the match in the final 12 minutes with two late tries, only for James Maloney to break their hearts with a field goal to win 19-18.
