Knights winger struggles with team song after 19-game losing streak

Newcastle's 336-day winless run has left winger Nathan Ross a bit rusty on the team song, as he showed on the Matty Johns Show.

The Knights' win over the Titans on Saturday snapped a 19-game losing streak dating back to Round 6 last year.

Ross was instrumental in the drought-breaking performance, scoring two tries in the 34-26 win.

But on The Matty Johns Show on Monday night, the young flyer's form wasn't as good.

Ross was being interviewed by the panel when Bryan Fletcher said: "There's been a bit of talk that the boys didn't know the team song, can I put you on the spot, do you know it?"

"I know the start of it," Ross replied before breaking out the song.

However Johns, a Newcastle Knights legend, interrupted Ross and informed him he'd missed a few lines.

Matty then took over and showed Ross how it's done, cracking up in laughter afterwards.

For the record, the song goes:

We win, we win, we win,
The Knights we are supreme,
We got the points again today,
We never, never give in,
The forwards on the boil,
The backs they are a dream
We are the greatest football team
That you have ever seen
