Pat Richards robbed by 'worst blunder in Super League history'

A Pat Richards conversion has caused controversy in the UK after it was waved away despite clearly going through the posts.

The Aussie winger appeared to level things up at 30-30 in Catalans' recent clash with Wakefield, only for the touch judges to leave everyone baffled with an absolute howler of a decision.

As you can see in the video above, the ball travels just inside the left-hand upright, but the officials keep their flags down.

To make matters worse his Dragons side wound up losing by two points.

Richards often kicks the ball higher than the posts, making it hard for the officials to judge.

It's actually not the first time he has had issues, with two touchies failing to agree on whether a conversion against Hull had gone through earlier this season.
