Oates, Gagai beat Feldt for QLD wing spots

The Queensland Origin team for Game One has been named by the Courier Mail, with Corey Oates and Dane Gagai to play on the wings in the biggest talking point of the side.

It is believed Cowboys winder Kyle Feldt played himself out of a wing spot with a poor performance against the Broncos last Friday night.

Meanwhile Nate Myles has kept his starting prop position, despite some indifferent showings at club level for Manly.

Jacob Lillyman is the only incumbent available for selection who missed out on a spot.
