EXCLUSIVE: Peats out for season with broken neck
Parramatta’s woeful injury toll has hit rock bottom, with classy hooker Nathan Peats diagnosed with a broken neck today.
As revealed by @7th_Tackle this afternoon, Peats suffered the injury early in the second half of Saturday night’s loss to the Roosters. Incredibly, he played-out the final 36 minutes until fulltime.

Scans yesterday revealed a fracture in the C6 vertebrae, ruling the ex-Rabbitoh out for the remaining three matches of 2015.

It’s the second consecutive year Peats has failed to finish the season, falling victim to an ACL tear midway through 2014.
Talks with the specialist later this week will determine whether Peats will need to have the fracture fused.
