Elliott to coach Warriors: report

Former Penrith coach Matthew Elliott will coach the Warriors for the next two seasons, according to media reports.

Sydney’s Daily Telegraph is reporting the club will unveil Elliott as their new coach in a matter of days.

The former Canberra and Penrith coach, Elliott has been an assistant at Sydney Roosters since he was sacked by the Panthers last season.

The appointment of Elliott comes just days after Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy reportedly knocked back a big-money offer from the Warriors.
