South Korea's Na-Rin An holds a one-shot lead after the opening round of the CME Group Tour Championship in Florida.

The winner of the LPGA's season-ending event at the Tiburon Golf Club will take home $4m (£3.2m) in prize money.

An currently has a slender advantage over American Angel Yin after making eight birdies in a blemish-free 64.

Yin recovered from bogeys at the second and fourth with three birdies before the turn and - after a further four birdies in five holes to start the back nine - she eagled the 17th to put herself firmly in contention.

Two other Americans - Allisen Corpuz and Marina Alex - are a further shot back on six under, with Women's Open champion Lydia Ko of New Zealand among a group of six players at five under.

Ireland's Leona Maguire is still within touching distance after making four birdies in a three-under 69.

But the USA's world number one Nelly Korda and England's Charley Hull, fresh from battling it out at The Annika last weekend, made slow starts.

Korda is level par while Hull is one over after two bogeys and a double bogey in her opening round.
