Kyriacou four shots from lead in Sweden

Australia's Steph Kyriacou has squandered a promising start to slip down the leaderboard after the second round of the Creekhouse Ladies Open in Sweden.

Starting the day in a tie for second after a solid four-under par 68, Kyriacou made an early move before signing for a one-over 73.

But the 20-year-old remains in contention with a share of seventh place at three under, four shorts behind Sweden's Maja Stark.

Home favourite Stark surged into the halfway lead after a superb second round of 65 at Kristianstad Golf Club.

Playing in just her third Ladies European Tour event, the 21-year-old Swede birdied eight of her last 11 holes for a halfway total of seven-under par, two shots ahead of compatriot Linn Grant and America Alana Uriell.

Overnight leader Chloe Williams could only add a 74 to her opening 66 to fall three shots off the pace alongside fellow Welsh professional Lydia Hall and Thailand's Atthaya Thitikul.
