Kirkwood made head of recruitment amid four new arrivals

Former Dundee player and assistant Billy Kirkwood has returned to the club as head of recruitment in one of four new appointments at Dens Park.

Graeme Henderson leaves League 1 champions Falkirk to take up the head of performance role, while Scott Testier has joined as a strength and conditioning coach.

The club have added to their medical team, with David Smith appointed as a first-team physio after leaving Ipswich Town, who secured promotion to the Premier League last term.

Kirkwood, who was previously a scout and head of loans at Rangers, knows Dens Park well having played for the club in 1988 and later served as reserve coach and assistant manager.

Dundee also confirmed two departures from their backroom staff with Robert Kielty and Kevin Milne heading for "pastures new".
