Sydney Kings have signed guard Kyle Adnam from premiers Melbourne United to support their heavyweight NBL roster for next season.
The energetic Adnam looms as back-court back up to former NBL MVPs Jerome Randle and Kevin Lisch in a team also featuring superstar centre signing Andrew Bogut and sharp-shooting forward Daniel Kickert.
The Kings needed another quality guard after Jason Cadee moved to the Brisbane Bullets in search of more game time.
The 24-year-old Adnam began his career as a development player for the Adelaide 36ers and has spent spent the past three seasons with Melbourne United, where he shared in the 2018 championship success.
"We feel that Kyle will be a valuable addition to our roster," Kings coach Andrew Gaze said.
"He brings energy and quickness...we've seen first hand over the last couple of seasons what he is capable of when he hits the floor."
