'Kicked into the shadow realm': UFC fighter's brutal KO

Frank Camacho has been knocked out by a brutal head kick in the UFC 228 preliminary fights.

Up-and-coming fighter Geoff Neal delivered the devastating blow, which had commentator Joe Rogan absolutely baffled.

“That was incredibly impressive,” Joe Rogan said during the broadcast.

“I can’t remember the last time I was that impressed.

“Every single moment in the cage he showed perfect technique and beautiful execution.”

Neal was on top of Camacho for much of the one-sided welterweight bout, but his gritty opponent never gave up.

At one stage after being peppered with heavy punches, Camacho let out a monstrous roar – alluding to the fact he wasn’t going down unless he was knocked out.

Neal’s impressive head kick was lauded as one of the best knockouts of the year, and fans on social media agreed.

Neal’s speed and dominance prevailed in the fight, but the victor held his opponent in a very high regard after knocking him out.

“It feels so good, it feels good to get it done and get a win,” Neal said.

“Frank is some dude so I’ve seen him come back from worse.”

Tyron Woodley will defend his welterweight title against Darren Till in the American Airlines Center in Dallas in the main event of UFC 228.

Woodley is 18-3-1 and has won six in a row and eight of his last nine, but he finds himself an underdog against the unbeaten Till (17-0-1).
