Kemei and Nega secure victories in Dublin Marathon
Kenya's Moses Kemei won the Dublin Marathon on Sunday with Asmirach Nega of Ethiopia earning victory in the woman's race.
Kemei crossed the line in a personal best time of 2:08.46 with Ethiopia's Abebaw Desalew second in 2:09.23.
Dublin runner Hiko Tonosa broke the Irish record with 2:09:42 to finish third and win the national marathon title.
Nega took the woman's event in a record time of 2:24.13 with last year's winner Sorome Negash second in 2:24:45 and Grete Dukale completed an Ethiopian one-two-three by finishing third in 2:28:29.
Ann-Marie McGlynn ran 2:34.04 to win the Irish women's national title and Sean Frame of Scotland was the wheeelchair victor in 1:45.14.
