Rookie forward Jonah Bolden has signed a four-year deal with NBA franchise Philadelphia 76ers

Rookie forward Jonah Bolden will add to the Australian influence at the Philadelphia 76ers after signing a four-year deal with the NBA club.

Becoming part of a record 10 Australians to turn out in the 2018-19 NBA season, Bolden will join countryman Ben Simmons on a 76ers team coached by former NBL mentor Brett Brown.

Bolden was the 36th pick in the 2017 draft and spent last year playing in Israel, winning a championship with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Highly regarded for his versatility, Bolden's deal is worth a reported $7 million

Bolden is the son of Bruce Bolden, an American import who played 17 seasons in the NBL, winning the championship in 1992 with the South East Melbourne Magic.

He joins Boomers sharpshooter Ryan Broekhoff as the latest Australians to find a home at an NBA club.

Broekhoff has signed with the Dallas Mavericks on a two-year deal.
