Yahoo Sport Joe Jonas breaks silence on Sophie Turner divorce
Joe Jonas has broken his silence on his divorce from Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner.
The singer addressed the subject for the first time while performing at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on September 9, as part of his band’s ongoing tour.
Jonas had remained publicly quiet on the divorce, but before singing ‘Hesitate’ alongside brothers Kevin and Nick, he took the opportunity to share his thoughts with the crowd.
"It's been a crazy week," he said, (via Entertainment Weekly). "I just wanna say, look: If you don't hear it from these lips, don't believe it. Okay?"

He added: "Thank you, everyone, for your love and support. Me and my family love you guys."
Jonas’s comments come after Turner shared a "statement from the two of us" via her Instagram page on September 6, acknowledging reports of a divorce between the pair for the first time.
"After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to end our marriage," it read.
"There are many speculative narratives as to why but, this is truly a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."

News of a divorce between Jonas and Turner was first reported on Tuesday, September 5.
In documents seen by E! Online, Jonas said that "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken".
The pair married in 2019. They tied the knot in a "quickie" ceremony in Las Vegas – officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator – before a larger bash in the South of France a month later, attended by friends, family and showbiz pals. They also have two young children together.
