Iraola on Solanke rumours, focusing on West Ham and Hill's injury

Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola has been speaking to the media before the trip to West Ham in the Premier League on Thursday.

Here are the key lines from his news conference:

  • He brushed off rumours about a potential sale of Dominic Solanke: "I know nothing about this. I have no news on this. As I told you in the summer, I don't expect anything to happen with anyone, especially not Dom."

  • On bringing any last minute transfers in: "I don't know the chances. We still have more than 40 hours. It's a lot [of time] in this market because everything moves so quickly."

  • As a result, he said his "focus" is on Bournemouth's next game and not on transfer deadline day: "We have a game tomorrow night, which I have in my mind. I'm not working on these deals and I'm not focused on this side. In my mind I'm on West Ham, but obviously there are more people in the club who are focusing on this side. We will see how it finishes."

  • There are no new injuries ahead of the trip to London Stadium while defender Adam Smith "will be part of the squad" after picking up an injury against Tottenham on New Year's Eve.

  • In other team news, Philip Billing will also be back in the squad after missing the FA Cup trip to Swansea City. Midfielder Romain Faivre will travel with the squad, after being recalled from his loan spell at Ligue 1 club Lorient.

  • He confirmed defender James Hill "will be out for about six weeks" after picking up an injury. Hill was only recently recalled from his loan spell at Blackburn: "Knowing Hilly, he will try and do it in four weeks! We have been short at full-back and we know he will work hard to recover."
