Inglis sent for scans on hamstring injury

Warrington will send Greg Inglis for scans to determine the extent of a hamstring injury which has become the Australian superstar's latest setback on the comeback trail.

Inglis, who'd already sat out Wolves' opening five matches of the season as he worked on his fitness after two years out of the game, sustained the injury in only his third match for his new Super League club, against Huddersfield, on Monday.

Warrington's Australian coach Steve Price confirmed that Inglis will miss Saturday's home game against Castleford.

"Greg's got a hammy strain," he said. "He won't play this weekend.

"He's down for scans later on this afternoon. With the hamstring, we're certainly not going to rush him, we'll make sure we get it right."
