Ibrahimovic's first MLS hat-trick sends internet into a spin

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has lit up the internet after a superb maiden hat-trick in America’s Major League Soccer (MLS) clinched a thrilling 4-3 win for Los Angeles Galaxy.

The former Manchester United striker took it upon himself to almost single-handedly destroy Orlando City in a seven-goal thriller.

Ibrahimovic created the Galaxy’s opening goal for Giovani dos Santos, before putting on a second half masterclass in finishing for the Los Angeles faithful.

All three of the Swedes strikes came within 24 minutes of the second half and each one demonstrated a different piece of skill from the big striker.

Rising highest to head in the Galaxy’s second goal, Zlatan again fired LA level with a bullet-like diving header in the 67th minute to make it 3-3.

The big Swede ensured Galaxy came away with the win moments later when he chested down an attempted clearance from Orlando and lashed home an unstoppable volley into the bottom corner of the goal.

For 36-year-old Ibrahimovic, the stunning treble takes his tally to 15 goals in just 17 appearances for the Galaxy.

Unsurprisingly, the latest feat left fans in awe of the Swedish legend’s remarkable longevity and killer instincts.
