Huddersfield Town defender Michal Helik is set to be out for up to two months with a hamstring injury.

The Poland international sustained the injury early on in the 2-0 defeat at home to Blackpool on Tuesday.

Before his injury, Helik had played every minute of the season so far for the Terriers in League One. Along with his defensive duties he was also the club's top scorer last season with nine goals.

"It's a fairly significant hamstring injury. The early diagnosis is six to eight weeks," head coach Michael Duff told BBC Radio Leeds.

Huddersfield, who travel to Reading on Saturday, are fifth in League One, but have lost three of their last four games.
