House of the Dragon stars Olivia Cooke and Rhys Ifans are set to reunite in upcoming horror-comedy The Scurry.

Directed by Craig Roberts, The Scurry will follow two pest controllers who are called to what's described as an "eco-café in a country park" to investigate what initially begins as a routine vermin problem.

However, things take a dramatic turn when an a group of deranged squirrels hit the park, leaving quite the wave of disruption in their path.

After several fatalities, an eclectic mix of survivors — including the "pest controllers, a sulky teenager, hypocritical vegans and a drug dealer" — take shelter in the café, but their situation goes from bad to worse when a storm takes out the power and leaves them stranded.

The film reunites Ifans and Cooke, who play father-daughter duo Otto and Alicent Hightower in HBO's hit Game of Thrones spin-off House of the Dragon. The pair is also set to reprise their roles for the show's upcoming second season.

The Scurry will also star Paapa Essiedu (The Lazarus Project), Mia McKenna-Bruce (How to Have Sex), and Antonia Thomas (The Good Doctor), though it remains to be revealed which characters they'll all be playing.

The film, which begins production on April 2, is written by Tim Telling, while James Swarbrick and Adrian Bate serve as producers.

"It’s great to be back in business with the legend that is Craig Roberts, from Krakow to Cardiff his visual flair and skill with the camera meant that the moment we read Tim’s incredible script there was only one man for the job," Swarbrick said in a statement.

"Craig brings a humour and wit to his work, which is ideally suited to a horrifying rodent apocalypse."

Roberts added: "I’m really happy that somebody has employed me again."

The Scurry does not yet have a release date.
