Homeboyz coach rues missed chances against Nakumatt

Goal now understands that the coach is headed to Vihiga United where he is set to serve under head coach Edward Manoah

Kakamega Homeboyz coach Mike Mururi is unhappy with the outcome of Monday's match against Nakumatt FC.

The two teams battled to a barren draw at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos as the race for top positions intensify. Mururi says it was his side's game to lose, considering the display put.

"I am not happy with the result today, we played well and created many scoring opportunities which we unfortunately failed to take. It is not the result we wanted because we had planned to walk home with maximum points. However, it is football and once you do not take your chances you end up dropping points," Mururi told Goal.

"We will have to go back and work on our finishing because what matters in the game of football are goals."

Homeboyz are placed in the tenth position with the same number of points.
