Home and Away spoilers follow for Australian and UK viewers.
Home and Away star Ada Nicodemou has dropped some hints about what fans can expect from a shocking new storyline, which sees her character Leah Patterson-Baker and Leah's partner Justin Morgan get kidnapped.
The terrifying scenes form part of this week's episodes on Channel 7 in Australia and part of the soap's UK series finale in November.
The week begins on a happy note for Leah and Justin, after Justin gets a call telling him that he's won a free romantic getaway. He and Leah are thrilled and they quickly start planning their relaxing holiday, excited to have some time alone together away from Summer Bay.
But when they hit a breakdown on their way to their destination, events take a horrifying turn.
"On the way to their holiday, there's a breakdown on the road, and Justin and Leah get intercepted and kidnapped," star Ada told TV Week. "We find them three days later in an abandoned warehouse. They haven't eaten or had water - and have no idea where they are."
With the couple stranded, and with no way of contacting anyone for help, Justin desperately tries to find an escape route from the derelict warehouse, but his efforts come to nothing.
As a dehydrated and weak Leah and Justin struggle even to stand, they hold each other in what they fear could be their final moments.
Making a last-ditch bid for freedom, Justin decides to climb a nearby ladder and scale the rafters of the building. But with the ordeal having drained his strength, Justin falls and the shaky scrap metal in the roof comes down on top of him.
Leah rushes to clear the debris off him, but the impact has left Justin unable to move and struggling to breathe.
"Justin lands on his back and is badly injured," Ada said. "She realises time is running out and that he may die."
Terrified Leah sobs by Justin's side, fearing that she may be about to lose the love of her life as he slips in and out of consciousness.
Will Justin survive the horrifying ordeal - and just who has kidnapped the couple and left them for dead?
This latest twist for Justin and Leah comes in the wake of their sad goodbye to teenager Andrew Lawrence, who decided to move in with his sister Tegan rather than stay with the couple long-term.
