Hibs need Rangers to 'have an off day' - Scott

Hibs boss Grant Scott says his side will need to play at their best if they want to beat Rangers on Sunday.

Speaking to HibsTV, the manager guaranteed his side will give it their all but suggested they may need their opponents to have an "off day" in order to get the result they want.

"The breaks are always difficult to quantify whether it is a good moment or a bad moment," Scott said.

"The squad is certainly a bit fresher now so it has maybe helped us. But the momentum of playing games is key for what we're trying to do.

"There are always learnings from every match. Going into this one, our mentality doesn't change. We have a way we want to play as a group, we are not going to change our style.

"There are tweaks we'll make and things we've spotted that Rangers do well against us that we might try and nullify.

"We know how difficult a job it will be. We need everything to go well for us and maybe them to have an off day to get the success we hope to have.

"One thing I can guarantee from this team is that we will give it our very best."
