Hibernian 2-0 Partick Thistle: What the managers said

Hibs boss Grant Scott:

"It was a tough match so we are delighted to get the result and I think we have been due one against Partick.

"We have probably not played as well in the game as we have done in previous games against them and strangely got the result. It was a tough contest but very happy [to win]."

Partick Thistle assistant manager Ross Stormonth:

"I thought first half it could have ben 3-3 but in the second half we kind of dropped out of it a little bit and Hibs probably dominated.

"We have had a brilliant season, we are in the top six for a reason, we're competitive in these games.

"I think it shows you how far we've come that we came to somewhere like Meadowbank, a difficult venue, up against a full-time team and we are disappointed to lose.

"One result doesn't change the momentum and the belief in the squad."
