The Sugar Bowl scheduled for New Year's Day in New Orleans has been postponed following a devastating attack early Tuesday morning on Bourbon Street that left at least 10 dead and 35 injured.

For those who already bet on the game — a College Football Playoff quarterfinal between Georgia and Notre Dame — and are wondering what happens now to those wagers, it will entirely depend on the house rules of your preferred sportsbook.

The Sugar Bowl is set to kick off after a 24-hour postponement on Thursday evening. Most bets will remain action as long as the game is played within the same scheduling week.
