'What the hell is he doing?': Aussie striker's insane 40m bicycle goal

A Victorian football club has provided perhaps the goal of the weekend anywhere in the world with an insane overhead winner from well outside the box.

Mid-table Cairnlea FC upset FFV State League 2 leaders Whittlesea United 2-1 last Saturday at Cairnlea Park.

Both goals came from Habib Fleifel, who was making his first appearance after serving a two-game ban, and the second was one to remember.

After drawing Cairnlea level just before half-time, it was in the late stages of the game when he trapped a ball about 40 metres out from goal and sent it flying over his head and past the goalkeeper.

The home fans erupted and the players ended up on the other end of pitch in wild celebrations.

“I was going, ‘what the hell is he doing here?’ and then it went in,” Cairnlea coach Kevin Theuma told the Star Weekly.

“It was a bicycle kick from outside the box. It was identical to one that (Swedish football star) Zlatan Ibrahimovic kicked.”
