Australian star Hannah Green has fired the equal-lowest second round score to be in the mix heading into the weekend at the LGPA Tour's HSBC Women's World Championship in Singapore.
Former Women's PGA champion Green continued a run of outstanding form as she carded a six-under 66 on a steamy Tanjong course at Sentosa Golf Club on Friday.
She's tied seventh, four shots behind joint leaders Inbee Park (69) and Hee Young Park (68) who are at 11 under.
Green now has 14 consecutive rounds under par on the tour, one of only three players who shot in the 60s all four rounds of last week's LA Open where she tied for third place.
"I think I managed to hit more fairways ... and a lot of greens today which is nice, but I gave myself a lot more opportunities and was able to capitalise on them," Green said.
"This is my first time in Thailand and Singapore, so I'm super excited to be here.
"I think that's really helping me try to beat this heat which I'm not very good with."
Countrywomen Su Oh (72) and Katherine Kirk (71) are four shots behind Green in a tie for 27th with Minjee Lee (73) a further two shots back.
