Rickie Fowler has blasted an unbelievable long-range drive and almost wiped out a group of unsuspecting fans in the process.
The golfer smashed the 419-metre drive when he teed off on the 10th hole at the Scottish Open, and it went so far that the fans didn’t expect it.
The fans were crossing the course at a spot they figured was so far away they would be safe – but Fowler’s incredible feat had the spectators scrambling for cover after the ball had already landed.
The situation was set up perfectly for Fowler who had the wind blowing in the direction of the drive, combined with the hole being downhill.
Luckily, the ball landed and rolled beyond the fans and no one was hit or injured.
