New Zealand golfer Michael Campbell has missed the cut by one shot at the Singapore Open after shooting a three-over 74 in his rain-disrupted second round.
Campbell followed his opening round 70 with a second-day effort that featured five bogeys - including one on the par-five 18th hole - and saw him slip from contention at the rich European Tour event at Sentosa Golf Club.
It was a disappointing outcome for Campbell, who finished in a share of third at last month's Portugal Masters, his first top-three finish on the European Tour in four years. He was 30th at the subsequent BMW Championship in Shanghai.
Swedish golfer Thomas Bjorn shot a four-under 67 to take a two-stroke lead on nine-under in Singapore.South Africa's George Coetzee reeled off five straight birdies to post the low round of the day at 63 and move into equal second place with England's Chris Wood (65) at seven under.
