Mr Burns took great pleasure in beating poor Homer up and down the Springfield Country Club, before it was revealed that Burns’s title of the greatest golfer in town was a furphy, created by Smithers and his hidden stash of golf balls.

‘His Airness’ holds a handicap of 1.2 and manages to play up to 36 holes a day. He is a member of approximately 12 private golf clubs and owns more than 40 golf sets, plus a 3,500 square foot putting green, which he had installed in his own backyard.

When he’s not crashing bucks parties to give marriage advice, the 63-year-old actor can be found on the golf course. The 8-handicapper has had a long association with the sport; one of his first film roles came in the cult classic 'Caddyshack', he has written a book called ‘Cinderella Story: My Life in Golf’ and in 2011 he won the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am with pro DA Points.

The pop star is as a 6-handicapper and he even has an event on the PGA Tour named after him – the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.

Fans of Entourage would know the Hollywood star is pretty good at golf, at least when he’s betting with Johnny Drama. Wahlberg is a bit of a gun in reality, too, holding a 7 handicap.
