Gareth Bale's incredible Happy Gilmore trick shot

If Real Madrid star Gareth Bale gets sick of football he could have a bright future in golf, based on his incredible skills with the driver.

The Welshman seems to be enjoying his pre-season break and used the spare time to hit the Baker's Bay Golf and Ocean club in the Bahamas to show off his golf game.

The star forward took a leaf out of fictional golfer Happy Gilmore's books with a stunning half volley tee shot that would make any professional proud.

Bale posted the clip to his Instagram account which shows him tossing the golf ball into the air, before smashing it down the fairway on the bounce.

The shirtless Welshman is definitely a fan of the course's relaxed dress code which allows players to hit the greens without shirts and shoes.

Regular visitors include golf superstars Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas and Smylie Kauffman - who all might need to watch out if Bale ever decides to change careers.
