Golf fan lands on blooper reel after hilarious fall

A spectator at the Nedbank Golf Challenge in South Africa showed it’s not just the players that need to look out for hazards out on the course.

The unfortunate fan, who wasn’t watching where he was going, plummeted into bushes after walking straight into a ditch alongside the putting green.

Thomas Aiken was preparing to take an approach shot from the rough on the other side of the green when he saw the man suddenly disappear from sight.

The golfer spun a way in a combination of laughter and disbelief after watching the fan's spectacular tumble into the South African shrubbery.

Raucous laughter could be heard as the man eventually picked himself up and resurfaced from the ditch, before giving the amused onlookers a ‘thumbs up’ to confirm he was alright.
