Super Netball premiership favourites the Giants took advantage of some inside knowledge to romp to a 71-48 Super Netball win over the Adelaide Thunderbirds on Saturday.
Three of the Giants' seven players were ex-Thunderbirds, led by 196cm goal shooter Kristina Brice, who proved her worth in scoring 28 from 28 shots in the second half.
The Thunderbirds' defensive concerns heading into the match proved founded, with the home side notching 23 turnovers to the Giants 13.
As they did last week, the Thunderbirds proved most competitive in the last quarter, which they lost by only one.
Thunderbirds goal shooter Shimona Nelson again impressed, grabbing some near-impossible passes.
