Damien Oliver's dodgy betting

Jockey Damien Oliver admitted to racing officials he placed a $10,000 bet on a race he was riding in. He made the confession two days after racing in last year's Melbourne Cup Carnival - a meet where he took out three races. He copped an eight month ban from racing and additionally had his jockey licence suspended for two months.
