Nova Peris-Kneebone

A dual-sports champion, Peris-Kneebone was the first Aboriginal Australian to win a gold medal at the Olympics in 1996. That was in hockey, but she experienced just as much success in athletics, claiming two gold medals at the Commonwealth Games thanks to her blistering speed on the track.

Just to add to my previous post..why isn't "Chicken George" on the list? Didn't he achieve enough?

Whew, just for a moment I thought the Big Fulla missed out too, but he was there and just as well. It ain't a list without Big Artie. I agree with Lumwana Chris tho. No Polly Farmer or Sid Jackson and from league, no John "Chicka" Ferguson and what about the "Black Flash", Larry Corowa? I think they tried too hard to get as many sports on the list instead of aiming for the best sports people.

Totally agree with Lumwana Chris! Prolly Farmer changed the game of AFL. To not have him in there is a travesty! BTW Cyril Rioli would be a good inclusion.
