Fraser signs new Warriors deal

Glasgow Warriors hooker Angus Fraser has committed his future to the club by signing a new contract.

The 24-year-old made his Glasgow debut in the Challenge Cup away to Bath in December 2022, before making his first start against Leinster at the start of this season.

“It means the world to me,” Fraser said, talking to Glasgow's club website following his renewal.

“I love this club and the opportunities for development I’ve had here have been brilliant. To have the chance to keep developing under Franco and the coaches here is exactly what I feel like I need at this stage in my career.

“Being in the squad here, you learn so much from those around you. We’ve got a superb group of hookers here, and to have the chance to come in and learn from a pack full of international-calibre players is priceless for me.

“I’ve really enjoyed the opportunities I’ve had to get out and get stuck in on game day, too, and I just want to keep putting my hand up for selection. I’m loving my rugby right now and I just want to keep on developing.”
