The actress tied the knot with her Legally Blonde stage production co-star after their romance became public knowledge last year, although they've known each other for a very long time before getting together.
Brookes went with a typical white gown, with a lace corset atop a wide dress and a long train, while Lewis wore a black suit and loafers, with a white shirt and socks (via the Mail Online).
Pictures show the wedding car was adorned with flowers on the back, and was driven by Lewis away from the main ceremony. A reception followed at a nearby venue, while the newlyweds reportedly stayed at a spa for the night.
The couple recently explained how they got together, with Brookes amusingly stating that she was set against the idea at first.
She recalled: "On day one of rehearsals of Legally Blonde, we'd known each other for a few years by now, he came up to me and went: 'By the end of this tour, we're going to be together.' I was like: 'Mate, no, we're not.'"
"[Legally Blonde's] Emmett [was] the nerd who gets the girl in the end," Lewis explained. Sometimes art imitates life.
"There's always been chemistry, but we've never gone there until now. It's been written in the stars from the beginning. I've never been able to play it cool and I let Faye know on day one. Even in Legally, she wasn't single, so there was a window of opportunity and I thought: 'That's it. I'm going for it.'"
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
