Chelsea striker Anelka accepts Ancelotti rotations

Nicolas Anelka accepts Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti's rotation policy.

The striker will not be banging on the manager's door and says rotation is the only way for him to win more medals.

Anelka told chelseafc.com: "I have been playing football for 16 years so to sometimes rest and watch your team-mates from the bench is not too bad.

"It is frustrating when you are 20 and don't understand rotation, but not when you are 32 like me.

"I won't say I have nothing to prove but I have the experience to appreciate the manager has to make choices.

"We have four strikers - Drogba, Torres, Kalou and me - so we can swap and have different tactics."
