Liverpool in Rubin Kazan talks for Yann M'Vila

Liverpool are in contact with Rubin Kazan for midfielder Yann M'Vila.

The France international is ready to leave the Russian Premier League after falling out with new Rubin coach Vladimir Maminov.

M'Vila is close to Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho and is keen to see a switch to Anfield happen with the Reds now nailed on for next season's Champions League.

Talks are now underway between the two clubs, with M'Vila confident Rubin won't price him out of a move.
